
Dhaka, Jan 23 (bdnews7.blodspot.com.com)-Bangladesh take on visiting Zimbabwe in the series-deciding last match of the GrameenPhone three-match ODI series with both teams optimistic about winning the series, reports UNB.The match gets under way at 9:15 am at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium (SBNS) at Mirpur in Dhaka Friday.This will be the 37th ODI encounter between the two teams. In their last 36 matches, Zimbabwe won 20 and Bangladesh 16. Talking to the reporters Thursday, Bangladesh vice captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said they are very serious about Friday's match against Zimbabwe."We need a good start in the match and the top order must score runs," he said, adding: "If we bat first, we'll set a target of 220-240 runs for Zimbabwe." About their game plan, Mashrafe said: "Our target will be to restrict Zimbabwe below 200 if they bat first."Replying to a query, he said: "We consider ourselves ahead of Zimbabwe in Friday's match."Zimbabwe opener Hamilton Masakadza said they are hopeful of winning the final match.Replying to a question, he said: "If we bat first, we'll try to score 230 runs."Bangladesh earlier lost the opening ODI against Zimbabwe by two wickets but bounced back to level the series 1-1 beating the visitors by six wickets in the second ODI.
