Bangladesh invite Zimbabwe to bat first
Dhaka, Jan 23 (bdnews7.blogspot.com) - Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful invited Zimbabwe to bat first after winning toss in the fog-curtailed series decider on Friday at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
The match has been reduced to 37 overs for each side after dense fog delayed the start for more than two hours.
Zimbabwe made two changes from the squad that lost to Bangladesh by six wickets in the second one-dayer with Keith Dabengwa and Christopher Mpofu replacing Malcolm Waller and Tawanda Mupariwa.
Bangladesh retained the same squad.
Bangladesh: Mohammad Ashraful,Tamim Iqbal, Roqibul Hassan, Shakib Al Hasan, Mehrab Hossain Jr., Mushfiqur Rahim (wicketkeeper), Naeem Islam, Mashrafe Mortaza, Nazmul Hossain, Mahmudullah and Rubel Hossain.
Zimbabwe: Prosper Utseya, Elton Chigumbura, Keith Dabengwa, Hamilton Masakadza, Stuart Matsikenyeri, Christopher Mpofu, Raymond Price, Edward Rainsford, Vusimuzi Sibanda, Tatenda Taibu and Sean Williams.
